Our Youth Employment Hub provides a socially interactive space where ideas are nurtured and members can explore their career aspirations and pathways in a safe and inclusive environment.
By engaging with our team to determine a pathway, members can experience a springboard to success via workshops, events, and advice & guidance.
Members can visit the Hub anytime and access free refreshments, workstations, free wi-fi, and printing facilities to support when undertaking a job search, research or simply just to interact with others of a similar age and background!
Journey to Job
Tailored for 16–24 year olds who are actively seeking employment.
When: Every Tue, Wed & Thu (10am-3pm)

KA-CHING
Aimed at 19+ year olds who do not have a GCSE grade C/4 or above.
When: 1 Day Workshop Ran Monthly (10am-3pm)
KA-CHING is a youth financial education workshop and is designed to equip young people with essential financial knowledge to help them manage their money confidently and make smart financial decisions.
Our workshop covers fundamental topics such as:
- Understanding Payslips, Taxes, and National Insurance
- Budgeting and Saving
- Planning for the Future
Empower to Success
Aimed at 16–24 year olds, who struggle with low self-esteem and confidence, and feel distanced from the labour market and their aspirations.
When: 3 Day Workshop Ran Monthly (10am-3pm)
Empower to Success (E2S) is a programme aimed at supporting young people who are disconnected from the labour market and their aspirations. Over three dynamic days, participants take part in interactive workshops, self-discovery exercises, and skill-building activities designed to enhance both employability and confidence. The programme introduces young people to career professionals, inspiring them to raise their aspirations and set clear, achievable career goals. Through skills audits and team-building exercises, participants uncover their talents, gaining valuable knowledge and skills. E2S offers a holistic approach that equips young people for both personal development and career success.
Career Expos
Beneficial to 16-24 year olds who want to bridge the gap between education and employment.
When: Once Every 2 Months
Spark’s Career Expos are industry-specific events designed to provide young people, with immersive experiences to explore diverse career pathways. Our expos are more than just traditional career fairs – they offer interactive workshops, hands-on activities, career talks, and unique networking opportunities with industry professionals.
With a focus on sectors such as Tech, Hospitality, Health & Social Care, Construction, Warehousing & Logistics, and many more, our Career Expos cater to a broad range of interests and ambitions. Participants gain valuable insights into the world of work and practical skills that can help them prepare for future career success.
Career Catalyst
Aimed at 16-24 year olds who want to explore local training and employment opportunities.
When: Once Every 6 Months
The Career Catalyst event is a one-day dynamic careers fair that brings together local training organisations and employers to help young people discover a wide range of training and employment opportunities. Our mission is to raise awareness, boost aspirations, and connect local youth with the skills and careers they need to succeed.
